Ofsted

Schools are regularly checked by Ofsted. The date of our last inspection was September 2014

The inspectors overall judgement was that  "This is a Good School".

The summary of our inspection quoted :

Pupils achieve well at this school. From average starting points they leave with above-average standards in reading, writing and mathematics. This prepares them well for the next stage in their education. By the end of Year 2, pupils are confident and articulate learners. …….. This is because of strong leadership and teachers having high expectations of what pupils can achieve.

We were described as GOOD in every single category.

A grade of good is described by Ofsted in the following definition.  "A good school is effective in delivering outcomes that provide well for all its pupils’ needs. Pupils are well prepared for the next stage of their education, training or employment.".
