Parent Forum 2016/2017

Next Meeting: Friday 16th June 2017 @ 9.15 am

Welcome to Parent Forum 2016/2017.

Over the years we have developed a two way discussion forum between the parents and the head teacher, staff and governors where parents can support the school to develop its environment, learning opportunities, community spirit and ethos. Facilitating communication between all parties thus avoiding playground rumours.

What is the Parent Forum?

This Forum is informal, fun and, above all,  enables real dialogue so that parents can be a part of the development of the school.

Meetings are open to all parents. It is a great way for parents to be involved as well an opportunity to feed back to the school. Please note this NOT a forum to discuss individual pupil, teacher and or class issues.

What has the Forum achieved?

  • Invitation to lunch with your child in Early Years
  • Online booking system for parent teacher meetings
  • Valuable input to the development of the school website

 When do we meet?

The first/second Friday morning of each half term in the School Hall.

Why this time? The past 2 years extensive research has shown that meeting time has been the most popular and attracted the highest attendance.

Can’t make the meeting – and have something to share?

We welcome your ideas; views or comments either by email or leave a note in the Parent Forum post box in the main reception. (These will be acknowledged and outcome replied to you in person.)
